Past Present Temple is a project that
links three entities that have known each other for some time and
since they have been hanging out in the national neo Industrial scene, were destined to collide. The split tape was created under the tutelary deity of the Industrial Coast: a label from North Yorkshire (UK) that, thanks to Steve Kirby, managed to be appreciated by consolidating itself among the major European realities linked to cutting edge electronic sound/ Avantgarde electronic music. Specifically, PPT attempts to evade the dusty parameters of the antiquated grey area by moving the coordinates rather towards the realm of dance and pop while at the s ame time maintaining transversal devotions. The side of La Furnasetta collects several collaborations and remixes: Fabio Fazzi (Asbestos Digit), Paco Rodriguez (Sitarsonic) and the aforementioned Leather Parisi, thus attempting to give a more light atmosph ere to its façade. Particular mention for Eljiam’s songs: flagship of the Furna. On the other side, Leather Parisi attempts to pay tribute to the variations of the noise/soundsheld most dear, without ever mixing the cards too much. Seven tracks with very different identities and references, but all connected by the spirit of a recent loss. The task of chiseling/polishing the coffer containing this split goes to Elena aka Rosa Lavita: the only Priestess of the Temple of the Present Past.
